No doubt, Toyota Motor Corp. is currently etching significant milestones in the auto industry’s history. Its cars are doing well in the market and the sales figures continue to soar. Nonetheless, to complete the puzzle, the automaker needs to boost its performance in the pickup truck segment. To fill in the missing piece in the puzzle, the automaker released Tundra. Recently, it has started the production of bigger and more powerful Tundra at the automakers plant in San Antonio. The new Tundra is expected to impress hard-core truck drivers and to steal a slice of Ford’s market.
Toyota Tundra, the replacement of T100, was introduced in 1999. The bigger Tundra, on the other hand, is unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show for the model year 2007. Parts and accessories for a Toyota Tundra truck are made more sophisticated to respond to the demands of hard-core truck drivers.
Mike Toncevich, owner of Imagination in Landscaping in Ann Arbor and a certified hard-core truck driver said, “More than anything, a good truck is a workhorse, dependable over the long haul.” In the past, Toncevich has owned more than 20 trucks. These trucks are from Chevy and Ford. Now, he is driving Ford F-250 and F-350. Regularly, Toncevich puts his trucks to the test to determine its capacity, performance, power, and ability.
Ford F-Series is composed of F-150, F-250, F-350, and Super Duty. These trucks are deemed the bread and butter of Ford. These trucks are remarkable. F-150, for instance, has been the best-selling truck in the U.S. for about 23 years. In addition, it has been the best-selling truck around the globe for 28 years. Ford F-150 accessories are made from state-of-the-art materials to boost the truck’s full potentials. True truckers scrutinize their trucks. They examine the engine, transmission, frame, suspension, towing capability, and the resale value.
Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp. and the Chrysler Group’s Dodge brand traditionally have dominated this market and have an advantage in the short run, said Alexander Edwards, president of the automotive division for Strategic Vision Inc., a San Diego-based marketing research firm. The firm also divulged that about only a quarter of current truck owners expecting to buy a full-size truck in the next year will consider a truck from an Asian automaker. Hence, domestic brands still have superior consideration, as high as 65 percent in favor of Chevy.
Edwards added, “They clearly have a lead, but none of them are going to like this statement: 25% of all of your buyers are looking at the Asians for definite consideration. People are going to consider” the new Tundra “and people are going to choose it, if the product is done correctly.” In addition, according to the experts in the auto industry, brand new Tundra has gotten the attention of truck buyers.

What is this line called, I looked it up on the auto part stores but could only fine the rubber hose replacements.
It may be just a factory part, you'll have to get it at the dealership.
Why not try a piece of slit rubber hose and a hose clamp to see if you can seal it up.
Sheesh, I only meant to try and seal it for a temp fix, until you get your metal tube. Figured you didn't want fluid all over the place if you had to order it.

I tried to replace the blower motor control switch, but when I got the replacement part it only had 5 contacts instead of 6 like the orignal. We (Auto Zone & Car Quest) tried looking in the parts catolog for the right one but could not find one. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Did the wiring harness connector have 6 wires. It may not have but 5. Switch manufacturers sometimes don't put all the pins in if they know that they are not needed in certain applications. Check the wiring connector and see if it has a wire in the spot where the replacement switch is missing a pin>

It seems like there are going to be more recalls. Especially now that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, or the NHTSA, has announced another batch of auto manufacturers that would be doing their own share of recalls.
According to the United States’ government’s NHTSA, there would be three separate auto recalls that are ongoing right now. In fact, they had estimated that there would be around 130,600 vehicle units that are going to be affected by the previously mentioned recall. That would be quite a huge amount and that would also mean that there would be some 130,600 vehicle owners who would have to go through undue stress because of such recalls. But this would be in the case of safety and performance of the vehicle, and not just some simple replacement of things like Ford Custom 500 parts.
Out of the 130,600 vehicles that are being recalled, a huge portion of that whole is actually vehicles from the Chrysler Group which is part of the big corporation Daimler Chrysler AG. This is still in accordance to the statement given out by the NHTSA. However, the other small part left behind does belong to the financially unstable Ford Motor Company.
For Chrysler, they would be taking back some 127,928 units of Chrysler Pacificas which were manufactured as part of the model years 2005 and 2006. The Chrysler Pacifica is a crossover vehicle and the problem with them is that they have been manufactured with fuel pump modules and powertrain control module software that can be quite dangerous for some. In fact, these can actually allow the engine to stall during some condition types and in the process lead to a crash without much warning to the driver. During the mentioned recall, the company would be the one to shoulder costs with regards to reprogramming both software. The fuel pump module on the Chrysler Pacifica would also be replaced.
Other vehicles to be recalled include the Chrysler Sebring which is a sedan. There would be 2258 units of these to be recalled and the list would include those that were produced for the 2007 model year.
As per the Ford Motor Company, they would be taking back 422 units of the Ford Crown Victoria and the Mercury Grand Marquis. Only those that were from the 2007 model year would be recalled.
