One heat of a NEO class HO slot car race on the custom built “Riverside” Bucktrax, at Gary Cleverley’s HO Racing and Hobbies in San Diego – 1994. The cars being raced are Tyco and Tomy NEO cars (now obsolete because they’re too slow!). John Cukras, Francis McAttee, Chris Wiley, Doug Sheppard, Brian Lowe, Dan Ruddock, Dale Yamashita, Mike Low, G Morgan

    Actuall this track is located in Rancho Cucamonga. There are big SCHOR races at that location in April and October. Send me an email address and I’ll hook you up with a contact.

    I’ll tell em. There’s a few SD guys left (Gene, Francis, GPaul, Anthony, and Ty) and quite a few of LA guys still going at it. (Cukras, J Williams, Ben, Waka, Oscar, and others) SCHOR’s kinda makin’ a comeback. I think the recession is good for little tiny car racin’. Good to hear from ya – Morgan

    Glad to see you broke the 1.4 mark. I think I had a 1.43X 14 years ago.

    Yep, it’s me (G Morgan)! Took me 14 years to figure out how to digitize it – HA! You’re right too! It’s still the best and fastest track out there. The fastest lap on it so far is 1.385 secs. It’s up in Rancho Cucamonga now. I also got B. Lowe’s original
    6×18 Scorpion from him. It’s also in Cucamonga. Both of em’ lookin’ good and runnin’ fast.
