How does the fuel distributor go bad on a '94 Mercedes?
Posted on Dec 31, 2008 under used mercedes parts | 2 CommentsDoes this part have a fuel pressure regulator built in? What can break on this thing aside from bad rubber seals, an internal clog, or a leak caused by physical damage or corrosion?
Get real, my friend said the repair is going to cost $2,600!!! How on earth? You can buy a used car for that price.

There is a fuel pressure regulator located on the fuel rail that controls the pressure to the fuel injectors. This part is easily replaced ( it unscrews off of the rail after the fuel lines are disconnected). Check with a Mercedes parts department for a price for the part.
